Villa Gajah Putih has been recognized by Architectural Digest as one of
the "World's Most Beautiful Homes" and is a spectacular 14,000 sq. ft.
traditional Balinese style villa. Gorgeous grounds and exotic gardens
with gazebos and reflection ponds encompass this five-acre oceanfront
estate, which was built in 1991. The villa is also surrounded by koi
ponds with arches footbridges connecting living areas to garden areas.
Additionally there is a tennis court and 32' x 65' pool, which both
overlook the 500ft. semi-private beach and ocean. In the pool cabana is
a 10' X 15' sauna with an ocean view and special mirrored glass
ensuring privacy.
Beautifully proportioned rooms, highly polished marble floors, tropical
hardwoods and large glass doors and windows, reflect a sense of nature
and harmony. The décor is a graceful blend of Chinese and Mediterranean
antiques with fine Balinese teak and rattan. Since Gajah Putih is of
Balinese design, the public spaces are open air at the perimeter giving
