Stonecrest is a beautiful house situated on Ocean Point, an exclusive enclave on the south shore of the island. Though it was built only in 1997, Stonecrest appears to have stood for ages. Its layout is perfect and offers guests the maximum amount of privacy with three floors and numerous indoor and outdoor sitting areas. Every room has a sweeping view of the sparkling waters of gorgeous Taylor Bay and unobstructed sunsets in the evening. There are five equal master bedrooms as well as a very pretty pool and large terrace. At the edge of the water is a dock with a ladder for swimming in the bay. Stonecrest's design also incorporates numerous amenities with the latest technology to make this a truly gracious and comfortable retreat for the most discerning guests.

The wonderful location provides an ever-changing coastal landscape and captures the entire palette from the intense turquoise of Chalk Sound, a national park one passes on the way to the house, to the pale blue of Taylor Bay, which is ringed almost entirely by a ribbon of sugar white sand. The water here is tranquil and quite shallow for a great distance out, making this a great beach for children. It's only a few minutes walk or one can also get to it by swimming from the dock across a very narrow channel.

Amenities
Air-conditioning and a 32 channel cable TV and telephone in each bedroom, high-speed Internet access, TV/VCR in the living room, six disc carousel CD player, washer/dryer, fax, alarm system, safe, hammock, BBQ grill, beach towels, ceiling fans in every room and a dock. The tennis courts and beach are about a 5-minute walk. A few racquets are provided.

Staff
Maid comes before arrival, upon departure and once in the middle for a light clean up.

Available services at an additional cost
Cook, extra maid service, and air-conditioning, which is metered separately though the first $150 of usage per week is included in the rental. (The villa has four central systems, each zone controlled for maximum efficiency at minimum cost).

Distances: Two tennis courts and a pavilion are also only a few minutes walk. Town is 4 miles and the airport is 5 miles.
